Lavender latte

Good coffee is coffee that you enjoy. Here’s one that really worked for me yesterday…

My family has lavender in bloom in our garden right now. One of my daughters made a lavender syrup by steeping a copious amount of the flowers in a simple one-to-one sugar-to-hot-water ratio. Quick and tasty!

I added a tablespoon her syrup to a double shot of espresso and added steamed milk: lavender latte!

Now… if I could only improve on my latte art. One friend described it as “numinous abstract art.” I’ll go with that.
